Sông Lam Nghệ An is a Vietnamese football club based in Vinh playing in V-League. The club is the 2011 V-League Champions.

History
1973-1999
In 1973, Nghệ Tĩnh football club (former name of Sông Lam Nghệ An) were established. In the year 1973, Nghệ Tĩnh teams were sent to compete in the National Division A. In 1979, Nghệ Tĩnh was renamed to Sông Lam.
1997-present
In 1999-2001, the club won two consecutive V-League titles. The club currently enjoys its most successful era.
SLNA were crowned as 2011 V-league's Champions on August 21, 2011, the club's 3 title in its history.[1]

Vinh Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Vinh, Vietnam. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Sông Lam Nghê An. The stadium holds 22,000 people.
